Apprenticeship Program

The KMI Apprenticeship Program provides a continuing pathway for young adults who have found it difficult to secure meaningful employment and are looking for additional training to achieve a viable career. The program acts as a stepping stone where Apprentices can improve their vocational skills and learn how to use state-of-the-art machinery (laser engraver, CNC router, etc) while learning job readiness and life skills that can help lead them toward success.

Through this program, apprentices create custom designed products and bulk orders for the general public and businesses, as well as a signature line of custom turned pens and laser engraved products, generating revenue that is used to help support our free youth programs.
